Honorable Mentions-

Butties,
The following videos, where ones that I painfully chose to not include in the original 20 videos, mostly as you will see, because they are other videos from artist who already made the top 20. Wanting to spread the wealth, I made it an effort to only have oan artist appear. This is not to say that the video I chose to withhold wasn't up to snuff. You may feel that they are better than the ones I chose for original 20 and that is understandable.
And G, way to bring the heat on the last post. This post is in no ways intended to challenge. It is simply me, clearing my conscience and leaving it all out on the court before I move on.

1. Heart- Alone
I believe this may be the official anthem for vampires everywhere. Great song, wonderful really. But, who was I kidding in thinking that I could actually withhold "These Dreams?" In this beautiful vampire theme song, notice how the piano is just as confining as a coffin? Just have to break free sometimes of the restricting 7 note steps of the keyboard.

2. Huey Lewis and the News- Power of Love
The theme song for one of the top 5 movies of the decade, "Back to the Future." Pay special attention in the beginning when Doc yells, "I gotta get in there!"

3. Lionel Richie- Dancing on the Ceiling
By all accounts this video may meet more criteria than "Say you, Say me," did for overall 80's appeal. I admit that it was a biased, subjective decision on my part, with my personal history and winning karaoke night in the Canary Islands with "Say you, Say me." You will most likely find that this video is far more entertaining.

4. Cindy Lauper- Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
I could not decide between this one or the following video, "True Colors," as far as which piece to submit in the original 20, and so I chose to wash my hands clean entirely and make no choice at all. Maybe a cowardice move on my part, but I went with the Bangles instead, and they are hotter than Cindy. This one, Girls just wanna have fun, has a Wizard of Oz sort of feel to it, making me feel dirty and unstable, so I had to pass on it in the end. And is it only me or does it sound like she is saying, "Girls, just wanna have f#ucks?"

5. Cindy Lauper- True Colors
I mean the hair! I could have easily mistaken this video for the broadway production of the Cats.

6. Belinda Carlisle- Mad About You
Former lead singer of the Go-Go Girls and also playboy centerfield, makes a lovely song about how I hope a girl feels about me someday. I know it will happen. I've gotta get in there!

7. Mike and Mechanics- All I Need is a Miracle
Another movie within a video, that I felt were beginning to lose their welcome in the top 20, which is sad because this is a great song and video, and who hasn't had an experience similar to this one where you lose money in a speakeasy and have to run for your life?

8. Men at Work- Land Down Under
Really, a huge oversight on my part that I was not even aware of until I heard it on the radio today. I really should have replaced Phil Collin's "Against all Odds," with this one, instead of "Danger Zone," since Jerry was already on top of that one. This song is such a delight. It makes me want to go to a gay bar.

9. Roxette- Dangerous
This is really actually for Jeff James, as I know he loves this song, and I figured Roxette should be thrown a bone here. G, sorry I did not post, "It must have been love," as I know you have particular feelings for that song, but the solid camera time the male singer gets in this video, is what made it superior. You may want to take the time yourself to post, "It must have been love."
