So, I only visit Counting Crows official website sporadically, sometimes months between visits, and mostly just to see if Adam has posted something since I last read so I can kill some time. He updated way back on Sept. 28th, and it's some interesting stuff. The first question he answers is political, and his response is pretty entertaining. Give it a read.
But the biggest thing I found: The Who and Counting Crows are touring together. SWEET MOTHEER!!! Where? Austrailia and New Zealand. Dammit!
Could I ask for a better pairing for my tastes? Not really. Both bands are deeply narcissistic about their music, politically opinionated but protective beyond belief about misinterpreting politics into their writing, put on incredible live shows, and there is hardly ever a time when my 6 cd changer doesn't have a cd from one or both of these bands in it.
Too bad it's down under. But I think I'll be able to buy the live recordings from the online store. How killer would that be? G, if you can make it out to this, it would be the best concert ever.
