In the new year

I'm sure most of you know that each year Pitchfork releases their editor's lists of both the top 50 albums and top 100 songs. They are always goldmines for finding good new music. The lists are now posted, and the first great thing I discovered was a beautiful track called "In the new year" by the Walkmen. I'll e-mail it to all of you, and here is a link to the lyrics.

    This was one of my favorite CDs this year and WAY better than anything that Pitchfork put in their top 5.

    I will post more about this later, but I think that the first half of the Fleet Foxes album is excellent. Still, I was pretty f'ing surprised when they picked it #1...

    I enjoyed the song..... the sad thing is, I don't have the time to check all those albums, so I will just trust you to recommend me the good ones. You tend to know what I like. No techno shi....josh.
