It's Not Cancer!

Butties,
I thought I should inform you that I have been given a clean bill of health. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers over the last few weeks while I delayed going in to see the doctor about the weird bump on the inside of my lip. Turns out, it was not carcinoma, but rather, a clogged saliva gland that was going nowhere. The dermatologist let me hold a mirror and watch as he applied local anesthetic and then took a scalpel and removed the gland with the aid of a pair of pliers. What emerged was a well grown and healthy gland with a thick membrane about the size of a fish egg. I wanted to keep it and place it in a bottle and wear it as a necklace, but sadly the Doc had to keep it to have it sent in for a biopsy. I shall miss. But, I did take a picture! I named him.....
